WELCOME TO INDEPENDENCE HIGH SCHOOL
 - Home of the Lions

Paso Robles Independent Study Center was established as a separate program within the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District in 1990 and became a distinct high school in 2001. In 2009, the name of our school was officially changed to Independence High School and our present facility opened for students in 2010. Our school colors are royal blue and silver and our mascot is the Lions!

Independence High School is a fully-accredited independent study high school. Our student population of about 130 students has diverse needs and the non-traditional scheduling provided through this program allows students to achieve their educational goals while supporting flexibility for work and home obligations. While our academic program is as rigorous as the comprehensive high school, the professional and friendly environment allows students to interact with their teachers on a more personal level than found on other campuses.
